Projector Installation and Usage Instructions

Installation Requirement

The clearance height between the cement ceiling and the false ceiling must be greater than: the height of the hanger plus the height of the universal joint plus the actual thickness of the projector. Exceptions apply to special circumstances. Recommended ceiling opening: 600mm x 600mm (depending on the size of the projector). A maintenance access point should be reserved; it is recommended to be 100mm-200mm from the hanger with an opening of 500mm x 400mm. On the top fixing plate of the hoist, there are four screw holes of 13mm x 58mm. Use expansion screws with a diameter of φ8mm to φ10mm to secure the top fixing plate of the hoist to the building's floor slab. During installation, first determine the installation position of the hoist based on the projector's positioning, then accurately mark the positions of 4-8 screw holes for drilling. The expansion screws must have sufficient depth to ensure adequate load-bearing capacity. When positioning, avoid placing the hoist near heat-generating equipment such as steam pipes, hot air ducts, and central air conditioning vents.

The power supply should be equipped with a 5A circuit breaker, and the power cable should use copper core wires with a cross-sectional area of no less than 1.5mm2. The power switch and control buttons should be as close to the hoist as possible to allow direct observation of the hoist's operation when using the control buttons. The hoist casing should also be well-grounded, with a grounding resistance not exceeding 4Ω. The grounding wire should have a copper core with a cross-sectional area of no less than 1.5mm2, and use standard yellow-green wires for easy differentiation from other cables. Control line extensions can be made using CAT-5 network cables. Using a spindle tool, determine the corresponding points on the floor slab based on the center point of the ceiling opening. Then, according to the specific dimension diagram, determine the positions for several expansion screws to fix the top plate. Drill holes at the determined positions, and use expansion screws to secure the top plate to the floor slab. Attach the host to the top plate and secure it with screws. Install the universal adjustment head and the projector, then lower the hoist to the working height of the projector.

(Decorative Ceiling) First, fix the extension piece to the bottom of the hoist. Then, based on the thickness of the projector, use screw rods to fix the extension piece and the decorative bottom plate.

Here are the steps for digital positioning calibration (Note: This function is only available on MPL-10X-D series hanger):

Projection Position Setting:

• Press and hold the "Jog Down" button on the eight-button remote control to lower the hanger to the approximate projection position.

• Release the "Jog Down" button, then use short presses of the "Jog Down" or "Jog Up" buttons for fine adjustments to achieve the optimal projection position.

• Long press the "Store Down" button until the hanger produces a sound feedback, indicating successful saving of the projection position.

Storage Position Setting:

• Press and hold the "Jog Up" button on the eight-button remote control to raise the projector to the appropriate position inside the ceiling.

• Release the "Jog Up" button, then use short presses of the "Jog Down" or "Jog Up" buttons for fine adjustments to achieve the optimal storage position.

• Long press the "Store Up" button until the hanger produces a sound feedback, indicating successful saving of the storage position.

Note: Saving operations must be held until the hanger provides sound feedback to confirm successful position saving.

Installation Notes:

• Ensure that the expansion bolts in the ceiling are securely fastened.

• During hanger installation and operation, do not stand underneath the hanger, and do not place items that could interfere with or be contacted by the hanger.

• When the hanger descends and encounters obstacles such as tables, which can cause the hanger's wire rope to loosen or become tangled, accidents may occur.

• The center of gravity of the lifted machine should be aligned as much as possible with the centerline of the hanger to prevent tilting or imbalance of the hanger.

• Do not operate the hanger beyond its rated load capacity.

• During hanger operation, be cautious not to extend hands or other objects into the intersecting scissors position to avoid cutting or pinching injuries.

After powering on, if pressing the operation buttons does not activate the hanger in either direction, check if the circuit breaker has tripped, if the control line is disconnected or loose, if wiring connections are secure, or if there are any issues with the serial control line connections. If the issue persists, contact qualified personnel for assistance.
